STUDENTS SHOULD BE ALLOW TO WEAR BLACK

Recently  girls from the volleyball  team at Illinois High School have been forced to remove t-shirts due to gang colors being on the shirts. The township does not have history of gang violence and the leader of the volleyball team, Alison Daniels, is a NHS member. The students obviously do not have intentions on representing gangs and clearly are demonstrated school pride throwing in black for a twist. The school is rejecting the students creativity and is causing school spirit to drop. The students at Illinois High School should be allowed to incorporate black into school shirts, and be able to wear so called gang colors as long as their is no threat to the student, and no gang symbols are visibly present.

The stress over these t-shirts and colors is overall decreasing support for Illinois High School. Both parents and students are outraged and feel that the Illinois High School board is overreacting. In an area where gangs are not an issue, why stop the students from looking fashionable. Black helps create a little toughness. Perhaps this can help boost the teams record or boost confidence. Perhaps the colors just look good and flow together. 

Many professional teams have gang colors. The Chicago Bulls sport red and black for nearly all season. The Chicago Cubs wear red and blue, which can be seen as a gang color. If these teams and role models can wear these colors, then why not high school students? The whole idea of gangs and gang colors is overrated. The students do not mean harm and are not doing any thing wrong wearing these colors.  The day when the girls volleyball team goes crazy and throws up gang signs and have gang symbols on their shirts, then their is an issue. 

Basically if the girls are causing no harm then they should be allowed to wear the black into their shirts. Both the parents and the students will be happy. A gang issue should not be created where no gangs exist. Let the girls play, let em look how they want to look,and let the teams be creative. 

 

NAS FORCED TO CHANGE ALBUM TITLE

Rapper Nas was forced to change his new album from anticipated album title, Nigger, to a more suitable album title of Nas.  Many record companies and stores claimed not to sell the album with a name such as Nigger forcing Nas to change the name for sales.  Nas also may be forced to change the name of many songs of the new album due to the names of many songs. Nas however says: " Everyone will know the true name of the album". 

The album also has  had rumors of being racist. Nas however says: "It's not an attack on white people at all," he promised, regarding the record's content. "It's knowledge; it's understanding for all people. It's not an attack on any race." 

THe new album will premier in June 2008

BEST RAPPER ALIVE

For the past years this man has released countless hits and number one singles. His past albums: Carter 1 and 2,  The Block is Hot, and Like Father Like Son, all had sells in the millions and his new album, The Carter 3, was the most anticipated album of 2007. The album has however been delayed and will be released May 13,2008. Recently named GQ magazine 2007 man of the year, and 2008 best rockstar of the year by Blender Magazine. Lil Wayne is hot right now and is obviously the best rapper alive.

He has been on the cover of over twenty magazines and is both a male favorite, with his hard lyrics and hood style, and a woman favorite with his soft lyrics and detailed desciptions. Lil Wayne is basically attracting everyone. His hit, Lolliop, reached top 5 on Billboard Charts for weeks and his newest song A Millie is still a favorite by most rap fans. He also gave the ladies some music with his freestyles on Love in This Club and Crying Out for Me.  Lil Wayne states: " HIP HOP IS NOT HIP HOP WITHOUT ME". Lil Wayne is " a beast a dog a muthaf***in problem", as stated in his new song A Millie.

Lil Wayne has also changed the style of the game. His rockstar style and dressing style has inspired a new era of rock hip hop, and has inspired millions of young men to become MOB, or money over bitc***, and Lil Wayne has gave excitement to hip hop. 

BANKHEAD DISPUTE: SHAWTY LO REAL BANKHEAD KING

Rumor has it that in the hit movie, ATL, staring rapper T.I. that the character Big Boi,a drug dealer and heartless man, actually was portrayal for rapper Shawty Lo.  Shawty Lo, who has become a popular rapper with his hits Dunn Dunn and Dey Know. Shawty Lo and TI have many issues and Shawty Lo claims that he is not really from an Atlanta neighborhood, Bankhead.

TI, self made king of the south, has proven that he can sell records and has hot new music out on DATPIFF.COM. Shawty Lo states however: " 

But what I'm disappointed by, some claim to be rappers sayin they from Bankhead.. without mentionin.. They can't mention Bankhead without acknowledging me".

TI new album however drops in August and already has rumors on being aimed at Shawty Lo. The king will then be proclaimed then.

 

BETTER TRAPSTAR: GUCCI MANE OR YOUNG JEEZY?

FOR YEARS NOW GUCCI MANE AND YOUNG JEEZY HAVE BEEN INTO A SO CALLED RAP BEEF. THIS BEEF HOWEVER DID NOT START WITH RAP. IT BEGAN OVER THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN DRUG MONEY, AND JEEZY SENDING MEN TO KILL GUCCI MANE IN HIS OWN HOME. THE TWO COME FROM THE SAME AREA IN ATL, AND HAVE SIMILAR STYLES. THE QUESTION HOWEVER STILL STANDS: WHO IS THE BETTER RAPPER OUT OF THE TWO?

YOUNG JEEZY AND GUCCI MANE BOTH BRING TO THE TABLE HOT LYRICS AND STRONG PUNCHLINES. THEY BOTH HAVE SIMILAR STYLES AND SLOGANS SUCH AS JEEZY'S, LETS GET IT, AND GUCCI MANE'S, GUCCI GUCCI. THEY BOTH HAVE STREET MONEY, OR TRAP MONEY, PUT AWAY AND RAP MONEY. JEEZY HOWEVER HAS PROVEN HIS DOMINANCE IN THE RAP GAME AND STILL HAS A SMALL EDGE OVER GUCCI.
